We’re joined by family and an incredible musical duo: Joe’s sister Mary and her husband Devin, who make up the phenomenal dueling piano act Love Me Duel. We sit down to talk about their roots, growing up in musical households, the story of how they met, and what the future holds for their high-energy act. We take a quick interlude of a new Backyard Buzz and sample an amazing local canned mead called Mermead. Then, we clear the floor for an incredible 30-minute live, in-studio performance an Altered Judgement First but certainly not a last. Altered Judgement’s BackYard Buzz
In this episode of Backyard Buzz, the hosts taste and review Mermead, a local, canned craft mead line created by a Temple University graduate named Sophie. Moving away from the heavy, syrupy mead traditionally associated with Renaissance faires, the hosts highlight how light, crisp, and accessible these 6% ABV honey-based drinks are.
